In the far, deep south of the Salento region, near one of the nicest beach resorts on the Ionian coast, where long stretches of white sand and dunes provide the background to a clear and crystalline sea, immersed in the green nature and silence of the Mediterranean scrub, you will find the "Specolizzi" Farm. "Specolizzi" consists of both rooms and independent apartments and is run with warmth and cordiality by its owners, looking to offer their guests a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The Farm is completely fenced in and consists of a store for farm equipment with a tower and an old courtyard stable from the 1800s with hay loft, completely restructured and developed in line with the architectural standards of rural tradition, set up for guest services (reception, hall), highly-functional double rooms, mini-apartments with room for 4, with or without mini-kitchen. Wherever you stay here, however, you are guaranteed your own bathroom, air conditioning, a fridge, a hairdryer and a TV. In the morning, the owners, Mario and Silvana, offer a fine buffet brunch (breakfast and lunch together) based on the use of the old genuine tastes of the countryside tradition, made even nicer by the creativity of the owners here, in a lovely veranda from where you can enjoy a nice view of the swimming pool set like a jewel among the green of the palm trees and Mediterranean plants, creating an atmosphere of lovely colours and scents: peace and quiet guaranteed here! Outside, guests can use a common lobby with tables and chairs and nice well-kept gardens.

To make your stay here even more enjoyable and unforgettable, we organise activities of all kinds: recreational events, such as boat trips and excursions, local folklore festivals all around, theatre and cultural shows, with guided visits to the charming historical surrounding cities and towns and to the local arts and crafts laboratories where terracotta, papier-mâché, Lecce stone and rush are produced and worked on. Mario and Silvana will also be more than delighted to act as your guides as you choose from the several different food and wine delights here, so you can learn about and enjoy the dishes of wonderful traditional Salento cuisine. The "Specolizzi" also farm offers you use of a bowling green, a games area, a fully-equipped private beach (2 Km) and a stunning swimming pool.
