The building were constructed in the early '800 on the site of a castle or fortified building as testified by the base of the external walls of the farmhouse and villa, the name "castellare" is also credible due to the prominent position occupied by the house. Our extra virgin olive oil is made entirely from olives exclusively harvested in our olive groves and pressed in our Moriaolo and Leccino mills. To respect the integrity, the olives are handpicked, packed and transported under the best conditions to the mill: By safe guarding the characteristics of the olives we are able to produce a very high quality extra virgin oil appreciated by expert tasters.
