The province of Viterbo, commonly called
Tuscia named after the Etruscan
populations that once lived in the
northern part of Lazio, it is an area
full of history and art. Its origins
date back to an Etruscan settlement
called “Surrena”, that began to develop
in the early Middle Ages. Viterbo became
important during that period when it was
a place of refuge for many Popes,
earning it the title of the “City of
Popes”. During the long controversy
between the Roman Catholic church and
the Emperor, Viterbo became a free city
and it grew. Today Viterbo preserves a
distinctive medieval urban and
architectural plan, which you can still
enjoy in one of the most suggestive
medieval settings: San Pellegrino.

| Il palazzotto che costituisce il bed and breakfast è articolato su tre livelli. Dispone di tre camere con servizi, di un'ampia suite con sale dove si stagliano grandi camini in pietra che immergono l'ospite in un sereno ed accogliente soggiorno familiare. Gli interni, elegantemente curati secondo un fedele modello dell'epoca, riportano il visitatore al fascino delle tradizioni, testimonianza dello storico passato della nobile e suggestiva città papale. Adiacenti sono la piazza del Duomo (a circa 100 metri), con il celebre Palazzo Papale del 1200, e il quartiere San Pellegrino, con le sue pittoresche vie e i palazzi patrizi dalle austere torri che hanno conservato un' immagine fedele di una città del XIII secolo.
