| The relais was born from the careful and expert renovation which recuperated and reinterpreted existing spaces and structures, such as the former stable and farmhouse. The name ''Il Baio'' (The Bay) gives a clear reference to the presence of horses. Therefore, do not be amazed if in the early morning hours you happen to encounter a horse, trotting in the ring surrounding the swimming pool and health spa. Il Baio has everything to make your stay unforgettable, with its 12 classic rooms, 6 superior rooms, 6 country suites and 3 garden suites; furnished with every comfort, created through the restoration of the old stables, each room different from the others, and able to host up to 80 guests.

| In 1995 I decided to begin a new experience. I wanted that globetrotter people to know our wonderful village and our lovely region: Umbria. So we begun to rent Giovanna's House, in 1999 Marianna's House, and now the Cottage Le Casaline. The houses have the names of the wimen who lived there in the past. They are situated in the village of Messenano, 14 km from the historical centre of Spoleto,120 km north of Rome and 200 km from Florence |
